I massively enjoyed this novel when it came out in 2018 and I’m looking forward to watching the movie adaptation at some point soon! I was totally blown away by one of the twists… I did not see it coming and had one of those moments where I had to put the book down for a second to process what I’d just read and revel in the awesomeness of it. I’ll be honest, though, I found the writing style a bit weird with too many semi-colons and slightly ridiculous imagery (for example: ‘My robe is smeared across the floor like a skid mark.’ Urgh, really? LOL) but otherwise highly entertaining. If you’ve not yet read The Woman in the Window, then I think it’ll keep you hooked! Have you read it? What did you think? Comment below and let me know. Here's the blurb: Anna Fox lives alone, a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times... and spying on her neighbors. Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, a mother and their teenage son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn’t, her world begins to crumble and its shocking secrets are laid bare. What is real? What is imagined? Who is in danger? Who is in control? In this diabolically gripping thriller, no one—and nothing—is what it seems.
